The match went off without a hitch. Interesting weather with twisted grey clouds in the sky and light but variable winds on the deck.
I was hoping that Larry would come down and shoot with us, and the old adage, "Be careful what you wish for, it just might come true", did indeed come true and Mr.Durham came on down, and then left for home with the wood.
Larry set a new Range Record of 248, and a couple or three others also busted thru the 245 plateau. Set my own personal record of 245 with my own gun (done better with Larrys tuned rifle) and learned a couple more of her idosyncrastities. But I see a long and pleasureable relationship forming with Ms.Hunter #19.
We are trying to set Match dates so that they don't conflict with established Airgun Matches. Not easily done due to the popularity of the outdoor range.
It don't look like we will have a Match next Month due to the above mentioned conflicts with other Matches. If there are enough (6) shooters interested, or a smaller number that would be willing to pay $20 - $25, then I will schedule the March Match on the 15th. Otherwise I am going to Temecula to shoot in Larry's match.
Please let me know if there are enough Airgun shooters in San Diego to warrant the March Match.
Thank you all very much, John Harris
