Feasible to Have Barrels Turned?

I have some barrels that were chambered for a BR rifle I no longer own. Some of the barrels have very low round counts. From what I can find out, there is quite a bit of cost involved in having a barrel turned to a smaller diameter (recontoured ?) to use on a different rifle.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,

Tony...the best thing to do is start calling local machine shops and ask if they have a lathe large enough with a taper attachment that would tape up to 24"...or a shop that has a CNC lathe...just keep asking you will find a shop that is not really busy or can work it in for about $50...
I found a machine shop locally that let me leave my barrels with my dimensional drawings of how I wanted it contoured...they had my 3 barrels for about 4 months, but the price was reasonable...
