farley rest questions...

I have a new farley coaxial II being made for me and was wondering if the new base attached here would be superior/inferior for benchresting my 6br versus their standard base. I have a choice between this or the standard base.

fyi, they are making an improved new rest top (coming out next week) that they say is much better than the existing top and will be installed on my rest when it leaves their shop - they are just starting to make them next week.

hate to make the wrong base choice up front.

The ad states that the new base is lighter, my Farley has the original heavy base and I wouldn't swap it for a lighter one. IMO the heavier the better, just get to the range early enough to get a parking space close to the shooting line.

yes what he said, i dont think i would like the less weight either, once set mine never moves till i pick it up, just one less thing to worry about imo
