The pics are not very good, but best I could do.
If you'll notice the bolt handle cut out doesn't quite fit but in order to get the existing receiver screw holes to line up I had little choice. Like I said, this was a finished stock that I already had on hand for a Hall action, and I modified it for the Falcon.
This rifle will have a maple sporter stock like the 10.5 class rifle as soon the right stick of wood comes along.
I have a six oclock firing pin bolt and a 12 oclock firing pin bolt for this rifle, and another barrel just came in for it that's a different twist rate.

How many sets of Allen Hall rings do you have! I watched Allen install the first set on a customers gun. Scared me to death. I just knew he was going to scratch that scope but he didn't.

Probably about a half dozen Jerry. They're light, and I like 'em, but you don't want to switch em back and forth regularly. I use a piece of old credit card stock to fold around the scope between the rings.
The light rings weren't required on this rifle, they just happened to already be on this scope. As it sets, the rifle weighs around 6 lbs and 14 ozs. The weight of the stock is 18 ozs. It's a little too light, but seems to shoot very well so far.

Kent,

What brand of magazine was used on the action? I shoot silhouette and would be interested in this action if it could reliable feed from the magazine and if they were readily available.

Thanks, Paul

Paul,
It uses a model 52 Winchester magazine. They work well, and are readily available. The rifle in the pic is the prototype repeater action. As for feeding, this action feeds well and meets the IR5050 requirements in this respect. If you work the bolt quickly it feeds great. However, it's BR rifle and I feed each cartridge by hand when shooting it. I talked with Jonathan the other day an dhe told me he had made some refinements to the repeater action since I was last there. I was planning on going over there today and looking it over but bad weather has got me behind schedule. Maybe I'll be able to get over there tomorrow.

The mag realease? It's a spring loaded ball detent in the magazine hanger, you just pull the mag and it comes out. I should have milled some finger slots like on a 52 Winchester but I don' t plan on keeping the rifle in this stock too long. It's a test rig. LIke I said earlier, this is a BR action set up for sporter competition. Rules state that it has to work and feed two rounds, but we don't use 'em anyway.
This rifle has a .2250 straight chamber and it feeds ELEY EPS bullets.
