Falcon actions by Lenard Baity

I had a chance to shoot 3 Baity action rifles this past 2 months and I can tell you they are the best I have ever shot. Paul Bowers threaded and chambered them all with Stick Stark inleting and bedding. Paul just recently started shooting rimfire and has agged 2100 - 2200 on 4 - 6 ARA targets. We shot the latest 2 actions this weekend and I have not shot better guns. They are set up on Robertson stocks , Lilja 16 and 17 twist barrels, Jewel triggers - shooting Eley 10x ammo, Pappas rests. The bolts have 6 o'clock fireing pins and are the smoothest of ANY actions on the market today. If you are thinking of building a new gun I would give Lenard a call. He is nice to deal with - besides being the most knowledable action maker in the business. Lenard has shot 1000 yd stuff for years and knows what he is talking about.:D

Bill ,I see where Paul has a 1790 agg was he using a falcon ?

The falcons are new first time at the range Saturday ,I have just started rimfire myself

I was just wondering I tried one last year without the same results.

Bill, where is Paul located? Does he work with Stick? I'm tempted to get into the rimrife BR now that Arlington Sportsmans Club is going to host matches. I shoot the informal BR matches there on ocassion, not often cause the shoots are on Sundays. Any other suggestions for getting into this game....besides lots of $$?

I liked the actions so much I have 4 of them just ordered a sporter, do you want sell yours

I do plan to be there come to Ennis next Saturday and shoot with us you try both

My experience with The Falcon Action this weekend at Blue Ridge. The Falcon 249 13x and 250 15x both sporter targets. It was a bad experience for me because I wasn't the one shooting it! Last month it was another bad experience at Alleganey 250 20x and 250 21X in the 101/2 and 13 1/2? I wasn't shooting it either. The potential is there! It's up to the owner to find a smith to assemble all the correct parts to make it work. Wonder how the Turbo did in its first few matches. It might be a little unfair to pass judgement on any action with so little exposure. After all at matches like the PSL and ARA the Falcon was only from an 80 to 116 to 1 dog to win either match from the get go.

All guns need a good shooter behind them it to bad mine are stuck with me

Wasn't being critical of your gun or ability. You have a good action kepp plugging you will get there. I am not a goos shot by any means but I like trying.
Good luck with your new gun!
