Today was the monthly match at the Fairfax Rod & Gun Club in Manassas, Virginia. The match, an IBS Score match, was at 200 yards. The conditions weren't bad, but changed quickly and often. Many shooters got caught when the wind would change to blowing to the right and the bullet would go straight down to the 9 ring. The match finished just five minutes before a heavy thunderstorm came in.At the end of the day Hal and Julia were tied at 250-13X yet Hal won via creedmore in the third match.

1st - Hal Drake
2nd - Julia Van Gorder
3rd - Mike Morgan

Great shooting Hal, Julia, and Mike. I know it has been a good day for you all.

Adrain, don't you think it is time you and Julia crossed over and did some of this 600yd bench rest? All you would need is a different barrel to screw on your guns.

Anyway, good shooting to the three of you. It is a pleasure to witness good shooting.

What in the world would I shoot at that kind of distance? ...Other than a prairie dog?

Sounds like another tuff match at Fairfax. Congratulations to Hal, Julia and Mike for a hard day at the office. I wish I was able to make it but I hope to see everyone in Blackcreek next week.

Were you at the match?
I see Julia and the guys but no Adrian.
Oh, you were taking the pictures.
Yeah, I was shooting from the camera....
If I remember correctly, I finished up around sixth place. I got the sought after 250 sticker but that's it.

I was shooting a borrowed gun as mine is still in the hospital... Due to the amount of trouble mine has given me I should just put it to sleep. I have a drop port action that needs to be put in a stock but I can't find anyone that wants to do it.

I have dreams of a nice rifle but it hasn't happened yet....

Julia & Lucy

I've received several E-mails asking which gun Julia was shooting. She was shooting her beloved Lucy.
