Fair Price?

Asking for help in pricing a CMP 40X and a CMP 52. What would be a fair price to both the seller and buyer. Rifles are clean, shoot well, and are unaltered.

I would say 'priceless' considering as you certified 'under oath' you would NOT resell.

Time held is not a problem with these rifles. Rifles were purchassed about the time CMP first offered them to members and clubs.

Some of the last CMP 40X guns were sold without bolts and some with mis-matched bolts. Finding a bolt can be an expensive proposition. Obviously it has a bolt if you said it shoots well. $750 is more than fair. Just the action itself would command a slightly higher price. At that price, it won't last long.

The going rate for an action with a bolt used to be $600. For a bench gun that is all you would use and the rest; stock, barrel, trigger, would be surplus that would have very little resale value. Sights and sling hardware have value though.

Don, If you're going to the shoot at Darrel's next week don't forget to bring that ammo.
