Factory Rem SS Sporter Barrel ??

I have an older remington stainless sporter weight barrel [black] a buddy wants rechambered .243 into .244 ackley
I was wondering how this stainless machines compared to the custom 416 ss blanks .


I figured with all the knowledge here that I could get an answer to this question.
