Export from USA

Hi all

I am a BR Rimfire shooter in Australia, dreaming of getting a Turbo or a Hall into Australia. I am building up a 10.5 gun for team Australia to compete at the Worlds in your back yard in 2011.

The help I need is, I can not find anybody in the USA willing to get all the export paperwork in order. I am not looking for any favors, just some business willing to do the work in a timely manner at a reasonable rate.

Any advice, or names and contact details for anybody that might be able to help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards Brett

Brett,

I would try David Kerr in WA he imports actions all the time.

Thanks Rob
I have been in contact with David, he has just sold a Hall that took over 12 months from order to arrival. He is looking into some other options for me, but I am hoping to find a contact that will make it happen a little faster.

Email me and I will give you the email of a fellow in OZ that is in the process of importing one. He may or may not be able to help.

My email: Jkob60@msn.com

Thanks Jkob I have sent an email.

I was in contact with Pete at Procal some months ago and he did not have any in stock and was not likely to get any again, but I will call him again.
The other option was John Giles, he has a 8-12 Month wait as well.

The search continues!

when will they ever learn

was a song once,

due a search on my sad sad turbo story, I could not get one exported into canada in 2009 becasue flash (the maker) does not and will not get a manufacturers license,

we had numerous posts disagreeing but as a lawyer and a shooter i know this to be a fact after speaking with batf,
maybe allan hall has a license but if not you are s out of luck

search for that post detials are better there,

solution,

a buy a stiller 40x clone soon

b find a used hall or swindlehurst in ausy land or europe

c get on a list for a meyers action, the idea I have is to get 20 people together, and pay a extra 200 us dollars each and get meyers to make a run of 20 for export buy the license for 2000 us and make an extra 2 g to get someone to export them,

what about that idea, I was number 22 on his list for a rimfire action but not sure if that still holds on the first 50 he was going to make,

we could do the same thing for a turbo, but why does vitamin C (calfree) modify them and would flash build 20 for export if someone else would do the paperwork,

the nbrsa regional director is also a lawyer and exporter

Off to the western canadian centerfire br championships so I will be offline for a few days
