The method/machine Eddie uses does a very nice job, very deep etch. I have the Etch-o-matic thing. what makes a difference is: type out what you want in their blue paper, cut it down to a workable size. Place it on the barrel aligned the way you want it, and tape it in place so there is no slack in the paper. Wet down the fiber pad, then use that little thingy they give you that has the alligator clip, it changes things to DC if I remember, leave it the for 30 seconds or so. Then, take that clip off, and put the pad back on. It does 100% better using that clip first.
