Hunter
Runnin' Along
We've got a thread about a U.S. Senator's email; here's a copy of what I sent to "my" three guys in D.C. I don't know what else to do.
---------------------
Although it would be easy to think this email is about guns, it's really about wasteful spending.
There have been multiple reports of gov't agencies (particularly, Dept of Homeland Security) stockpiling HUGE amounts of ammunition. It's hard to believe those agencies need such large quantities of ammo; however, it's easy to believe something sinister is going on. It's also easy to believe that this is Obama's back-door attempt at gun control -- rather than a frontal assault on the 2d Amendment, just suppress the availability of ammunition.
At the very least, it sounds as though those agencies have too much money to spend. I hope you will "sharpen your pencil" when it comes time to approve budgets and be sure that there's not so much pork floating around that the various agencies are able to buy-up so much unnecessary stuff.
Regards,
