Eley Club

If you will remember, I started a thread at the end of last year about three bricks of Eley ammo that I got a hold of.
The ammo turned out to be Eley Club for the Civilian Marksmanship Program.
Some fellows, on the forum, had wanted to know how it shot.
First chance I’ve had to shoot was this last Thursday. I shot 4 cards at 50yds.
I always shoot 4 cards.
The first card: 220 and 3x
The second : 199 and 3x
The third : 232 and 6x
And forth : 226 and 4x
That’s a average of 219.25
I know, not so great, but hey I’m old.
According to my records the Eley Club is shooting about the same as SK Standard Plus.
I was averaging (235 +) and (16x +) with the Standard Plus.

A complicated comparison

Your right Wilbur, at first glance the numbers don’t make sense.
I compared the Eley shots with the SK shots taken at the same time of year,
that is to say early in the season, where the SK and Eley averages are a lot closer.
The overall average of the SK was taken over all of last years shooting, about 2000 Rounds.
I shot the Eley again on 4/14/18 and scored a little better.
The 4 card average was 232.75 and 20x.
The gun and the shooter like the warmer weather better.
