Electric remington

I started thinking the other day. Now ,usually that can get either embarising  or expensive . I read about the problems with the relationship between the trigger/firing pin and movement of the gun/sight picture every once in a while. Is there a reason, like maby a rule, that prohibits the use of an electronic ignition system like Rem tried for a while back in our comp guns. It seems to me that it would fix a lot of problems out there.

.........OR CAUSE A WHOLE NEW SET OF PROBLEMS!!

Just thinking out loud,

Have thought that myself

I think part of the expense would be getting the controller board into a BR stock. Not sure how big the board is, but I know in the Rem it is in the buttstock. Might just hog out a side of the buttstock and leave it there for everyone to see. Dazzle it all up with LEDs or something lol. Also, be sure to have a couple of spare 9V in your gear box.

Next question would be the Etronix primers. Not many were ever available when the rifle was in production and prolly even less now. Dont know if it could work on say a Fed 210M, but might have to tweak the board to get more current out of it??? Not sure what primers are used for ammo fed through GE Mini Guns, but those are electronic ignition too.

Be really neat in a HG setup. Put the trigger on a pushbutton switch so you could watch the flags heads up at all times ;)

Hey Tod

Primers are only $154/1000 at Powder Valley, not including Hazmat and shipping! Good news is that they are in stock while most all others are out of stock.
