Hi Frank. I tried emailing you, but it bounced twice. Have you changed email address? Check your PM's

Good morning Mr. Jim. Has Jeannie bought into one of them bucking bulls yet?
Before you know it she will be Hollywooded out and on the chutes handling stock.....I can see it all now.

Good morning Mike. Great to hear from you. How is your shooting going? What ever happened to that springer you shot with us once and did so well?
We have a match this coming SAT @ 12:00 in Texarkana the home of the great Mr. Larry Burchfield and his renouned Mayonaise jar full of pellets. You know the ones that he swears he never weighs or looks at and states he uses STP motor enhancment for lube....... yet somehow manages to open up a whole can of whoop a** on us when ever we meet......RIGHT......I suspect a bit of BS here but can't prove it.
For us wanta-be's the old Mexican addage might apply "What cannot be changed must be endured"

However come shoot with us and bring your best iron.....................Frank

Mike
Don't believe all that Frank puts out. Come shoot with us.
Larry

Hi Guys,
A match next Saturday? Sounds good to me, I'll be there. Probably bring the PCP gun, although the springer is always fun to shoot. Don't have a mayonaise jar to keep my pellets in, just have to shoot them out of the tin (well, sort of).

Mike, see Larry on the jar. I think he said he gets $ 13.50 for a hand delivered slickered up clean one and $5.73 with a bit of Mayonaise left and the original Wal-Mart label. With Xmas and all coming on you might want to place your order early.........or maybe wait for his holliday sale.

Looking forward TO SHOOTING WITH YOU...
Frank

I know that Fank will spin a good yarn if it gets someone in the "dog house" at home. ha

If Frank would have checked that jar closer he would have noticed that it was as "Mason" jar. These are usually used to store corn whiskey or moon shine. Thats what I lube my pellets with. And your right Jim he will tell a tale.

Larry
Are you saying that there may be some shine made in far north east Texas?
I sure am glad that I live in central TX. You two would be costing me a lot of money. Frank is also good at that, I know from shooting 22 RF benchrest with him in the past.
Jim

Dear Mr . Burchfield, being really old does not necessarly make me blind altho my shooting at times would lead one to suspect otherwise. However a true Mason jar as I recall from my younger days has a rubber sealed top with clamp spring pressure retaining the much valued inner goods. That THING that you gots dem pellets in has a screw top......making it not a gen-u-ine Mason but a reasonable facsimile there of.

On a further note, that feller Jim Pollard that I have been priveliged to call friend for a number of years, shoots so much bench rimfire
(and he is real good at it too) that the ELEY ammo company is conciderin' naming ammo after him.
Further discussing the merits of said Pollard..... I was quietly told by some old Albuquerque NM shooter friends that brother Jim motored up north to shoot and educate the local chili eatin' boys a while back on the finer points of superior rimfire accuracy. After the smoke cleared he left town and it was safe for the women and childrin' to emerge they called me.They stated that Jim had him a home made Rube Goldberg wind flag with so much shi* on it that the conditions could change 3 times before you could get it all read...........
One Dennis Chavez and another shooter named David reluctantly confessed they tried watching it and shot the smallest groups they ever shot in their entire life but stated they were profoundly confused the whole time. The entire taxing experience leading to multiple sessions of psychotherapy.............Frank

You are so full of it. Where can the readers pick up the rubber boots that should be passed out to them after reading that post.
Jim

It sure is hard to get any respect on this site anymore.

I remember a year or so ago when I first got on this site I made a prediction that Benchrest shooters would change the air rifle game. That sincerly upset a bunch of the to-fu eating status quo. You would have thought I just pis*ed on the Popes shoes or something as the gates of hell opened up on me for a week on here.
One ot the things that got my attention was when I learned chambers were being put in with Dremel tools, To me that was the equivalent of doing brain surgery with a chain saw and comented on the same. I was told the best barrels in the world were availabe to me yet the seller has no borescope to evaluate the bore. I ordered 2 with choke and got two with no choke at all. I know this because I took them to Shilens and had Ed measure both. I was told they been doing this air gun thing for 30 years and knowed what they be a doin' Shut up and set down Newbe!

Well guess what?......................We're here.

So to Steve and Dave and all the other dedicated benchrest shooters that ARE taking this game to a new level........thank you for proving me right.

Be nice Frank. I have ordered good weather for Saturday.
Larry

Just love you already Mr. Burchfield.........................Nuff said, I will take your advice.
