If you are wanting a >>>SHOOTER<<<.............. Go LW...

I have seen 4 Lothar pre chambered .223's ... 3 1-12" and a 1-8"...
I'm sure they can set ya up with a .260...

They shoot with any other custom tube..! They are CAPABLE!

EABCO Barrel

I just finished building a 260 using an EABCO barrel on a 110 action. It took about 60 rounds to get the barrel to settle in fouling wise. I'm still working on load development but have had a number of groups between .600"/.900" at 100 yards. I'm currently reforming RP 7mm/08 brass but plan to switch over to Lapua as soon as I can get a hold of some. Action is pillar bedded in a Duramax stock and action topped off with a Nikon 6X18X40 side parallax adjustment scope in Weaver 4X4 rings on an EGW mount.

Does anyone know for sure who makes barrels for EABCO? I've always thought it was probably "Green Mountain".

My suggestion is to get a gunsmith to put a krieger or Broughton, shilen etc bbl on it, and do away with the nut.

I put a 12 twist LV Krieger on a Savage a few months ago, and it went from 1.5" groups to shooting in the .200-.300 range....which I think it could do even better in better hands.

savage build
