Not the zero is not where it needs to be....I think there is a little tool (which I don't have) that you can stick down into the dial.
What is the procedure & what can use in it's place??

At $15.-17.00 a pop the Harbor freight calipers don't cause so much pain when dropped. I use micrometers to mesure with and calipers to just get close. Once dropped you will never trust them again for work less than .0015"

Just bought 15 of them at $9.99 digital models. I wish they were made in the good old US of A though.

15? That would cause me to buy a truck load of batteries. If I don't remember to turn off mine, it's new battery time. Luckily I can find the 357 batteries everywhere.
