Ditched the CZ for a Kimber SVT, need rails to mount scope

I could not be bothered to play around the CZ 452 Varmint anymore... the POI changes (even after floating the barrel after seeing portion of stock end touching the barrel) still were present though not as bad as in was originally... though I still believed the gun had potential, IMHO that gun had bedding issues and I can't figure out how they never saw this from the factory... This is why test firing is to vital, more than a few rounds should be fired but I guess this would lead to the cost being higher.

Though I kept my Leupold 6.5-20X EFR scope and BKL mounts, the Kimber SVT never came with scope rails and I need a recommendations here... going to use the BKL mounts and I wish to use a one piece rail system... How about the single shot option?

Also will single loading the gun with the mag not installed damage the extractor?

What ammo does your Kimber love? The manual mentions 2-3 brands and the target included with my SVT had a .270" 5 shot group with 3 shots entering into the same hole... it really looks more like a 3 shot group rather than 5 shot group :)

Options on scope bases are minimal on the NY Kimbers. My rimfire sporter class rifle is made on a Kimber action. Loading single rounds will not damage the extractor. I've loaded thousands of rounds through mine and it's still as good as new. I have Talley lightweight rings on this rifle. The rings are made one piece with the base, like the rings supplied for ULA actions. They're plenty solid and work great. The weight one ounce each too. If you aren't worring about weight, the Kimber bases and Leupold rings work as good as any.

I rather just get the base that allows me to use the BKL mounts, thanks for the suggestion, hopefully I can get whatever is needed and shoot by next week.
