dishwasher for cleaning brass?

My shooting room used to be my house.... I've got a dishwasher in my reloading area. I can get rid of it or???

Is there reason to keep it for bulk brass cleaning?

It's my favorite method. I prefer the dishwasher liquid (no granular deposits on the brass).

Al, from the stains on some factory brass I'd have to guess that they clean it with some sort of detergent/degreaser and water - sort of like a dishwasher. The liquid detergent like Winchester 69 uses would likely be the best, and be more easily rinsed off too.

I'd try it, but I like sleeping INSIDE the house instead of under the deck or in the shed.
