? Jon has anyone confirmed the BBQ man, Looking forward to another great day on the range with a whole bunch of great people...and a few old sore heads

That’s the question of the day. The BBQ guy has always been so reliable we never thought to get his number. All we can do is hope he comes this Sunday. If he does show up I’ll get all his info for next season.

Cale I did not say that!!! My gun is shooting good but not that good. We play Texas next month not this month. Lets not get any crap started, Just because one of us is going to kick there butt you should not brag about it. Texans don't like that. :D:D:D:rolleyes:

Denton match emptys Gustov refugee shelters

The North Texas Gustov refugee shelters are emptying at an accelerated pace in response to the upcoming Denton match. The reason is best summarized by a hastily departing New Orleans fifth ward resident: " With people like that around I am going back as fast as I can. Its a lot safer there then here." Premier Puten from Russia chimed in on CNN: " They, not president Bush, are the real reason we invaded Georgia." EU leaders pledged to condemn the match. French president Nicolas Sarkozy was especially vehement in his criticizm:" We look down our oversize Gallic noses at their so called BBQ". Greenpeace vowed to send a boat to Denton to block the slaughter of the old growth trees needed to make the targets. al Qaeda released a message saying that they are suspending all suicide bomber attacks in Denton during the duration of the match stating: "They are afraid to go there". With fellow benchrest shooters of this ilk how can we stay away? Tim

Tim. We have the same thing going on up here. A couple of Pistol matches were announced and everybody headed for the exits. Hoo Raa.

Hey Doug

I gotta box of primers that says Glenn puts a Duncanville whooping on everybody

When are you going to get those benchrest rifles of yours out of mothballs and come shoot with us again? I need somebody to harass. All work and no play makes?.................GW

Man I tell you Gary it has been a busy couple of years. Do you know it has been 2 years since I have even pulled the trigger on either one of the guns.. That sucks man. I really thought this year I would get to shoot but I had a big project down in Miami that took up a very big portion of my life. At least both guns still have new barrles on them, I went and bought all kinds of brass , powder and power neck turning stuff and I will be spending the winter month getting ready for next year with you guys. When I was outta town I read some of the posts and see that you did good this year. I'm really proud of ya man you shot good. I'm glad you got the guns working. You would have tore me up...
Are you still interested in that trailer down at the lease. I'm still kicking around the idea of selling it. I also wanted to make a reloading house for on it and drag it to matches and load in it. Ya know build a small type ofshed or something on it. Be kind a cool.
Take care man and keep shooting

Doug is that a big box of primers or a small one?? I know how Glenn Shoots and its going to be fun. Every body better look out for that Conley guy, He's tough also. We'll be there

Jay Lynn's suit

Glen, Jay Lynn had a similar problem having to buy a suit for a funeral. He, being Jay Lynn, balked at paying $500. He looked and looked and finally found one for $75.00. One leg was 5" too long. The other was 5" too short. The same for the coat sleeves. The jacket front was cut too short and the collar was set way too far back. The pants zipper was in the back and the seat was in the front. However by walking with one leg bent and the other on tippy toe, his body cork screwed sideways, hunched over, his butt sucked in and his head thrown backwards with his neck extended it would fit. He walked into the funeral parlor looking like a whooping crane with cerebral palsy. One of his friends said to another: "What in heavens name is wrong with Jay Lynn?" the other one said;" Heck if I know. But say, doesn't that suit look good on him?" Tim

Guess what Tim, Something very similar happened for real with Jay Lynn at a funeral just a short time ago. He found a jacket close enough match for his pants at the Goodwill store. Ask him Sunday if he shows up.
