Dennis Sorenson------quesion on Sako action picture

Dennis, I didn't want to get off topic on Sako extractor issues but have questions about your damaged action picture.

The bolt appears to be a bolt from a L-46 action and the trigger assembly appears to be like the L-461 trigger-----per the L-46's and L-461's I've had and seen.

Is it possible the shooter somehow mixed a L-46 bolt and a L-461 receiver ?

All the L-46's Ive seen had a trigger similar to the Win Model 70 trigger and the holes wouldn't accomodate a trigger assembly from the L-461's.

Just wondered if you knew any history on the damaged receiver ?

A poorly re loaded .243 Winchester did this... all the previously fired brass looked really hot as well.

It was a bad assumption on my part that this was a L-46/L-461 size action
