A big congratulations is due to Dan Killough for winning both of Dietzville's tournaments this past weekend. From my view, conditions were pretty tough as usual in Dietzville. Seems that Dan was the only one that could get a handle on it. I came close on Saturday but you can't shoot an 1850 target and expect to win. What was I doing on that one? Many thanks to Fred and Dorothy Jamison to putting on a good match and feeding everyone very well. I think Macky really liked the scoring team this time! (what do you think, Polly???) It was good to see everyone in Texas again and I hope to see everyone at my place in June. Until then, good luck to you all. :D

Great shooting Dan but would you please take it easy on us this weekend.Just kidding we're going to pratice on friday so give me a call when you get in town.

Dan is just good with the wind thing. He has learned this skill shooting at our San Angelo Gun Club range. It is not unusual to see dust devils dancing across our range and Dan usually waits until they pass before he shoots.

Seriously, good shooting, Dan.

Thanks guys for the compliments. Everything just went well this weekend other than the rest SNAFU.

Joe, I just hope I can hang with ya'll and not embarrass my self.

Fred, Dorothy, Jack, and the scoring crew did an awesome job putting on that match. Everything went smoothly and the food was great. I really enjoyed visiting with Ed Shilen. He has so much gun knowledge and experience, it is unbelievable.

Thank you,
Dan Killough

Had a great time

I concur with all and send out a big congrats to Dan and his fantastic shooting, and also for helping me out on day two when my rifle laid down and died.

Big thumbs up to Fred, Dorothy and all who helped for putting on a great event, being a rookie now I know the excitment of getting to compete in a tournament and enjoy meeting all the folks that attend plus getting the opportunity to learn from so many good shooters.

Chris' great tutorial on breaking down the rifle on the back of the pickup between targets and other advise on tuning one's rifle.

Getting to visit with a legend of the industry, Ed Shilen, and listening to his stories.

Hope to see everyone from out of town again this year for I do plan on making a few road trips to their home ranges.

Les
