I cannot believe that there has been nothing on the forums, the news channels or the papers about today, when so many good Americans gave their lives, so that we could enjoy the freedoms that we enjoy today...

GOD BLESS ALL THOSE BRAVE MEN...MAY GOD BLESS THEIR SOULS... REST IN PEACE...

Sadly, it's only us old farts who even care anymore. If I ever took a trip over there the beach would be at the top of my list to visit. I had an uncle who made it thru at Utah, only to be killed sometime after d-day and he's buried in France. beautiful cemetery and they send you a 8X10 pic of the cemetery and a 8X10 of his cross. When I was a kid, the Memorial Day parade was the biggest and us kids would always scramble to get the spent shells from the M1 rifles that the VFW guys shot off. It seemed like every person we knew belonged to the VFW back then, good memories. Thanks, Douglas
