CZ 452 barrel

I am thinking of change the barrel of my CZ 452 rimfire rifle for a Krieger HV #9 contour. What is the appropiate lenght to not stress the action?

A Shilen is cheaper and is the hot rimfire barrel at this time. Go to their website for contours.

A 1.25" barrel which is the max diameter of a HV barrel is larger than the diameter of a CZ452 action, and likely unneeded for best accuracy in a rimfire anyway.

Most are using the straight .900 contour with a tuner.

I agree, the heavy barrels are a thing of the past with rimfire. A med (.825-.875) reverse taper or straight with a tuner is the ticket.
Call Jerry at benchmark barrels or Shilen . Both are putting out a superior product.
