Custom Dies

Specifically, I am looking for a full length resizing die for .284 Shehane. I understand that Jim Carstensen used to offer this service, but don't know if he is still working in this capacity or his contact info (old website no longer running). Any assistance would be appreciated.

I might have a die that will work for you that's on the shelf.. It's a die that re-sizes the body. The neck bushing re-sizes the neck and bumps the shoulder. The neck size is customer specific. You want a .336" diameter, not a problem. I can send a picture or post a picture of my current 6mm BR die that i use at the range.

Mark are you making dies on the Neil Jones design? And are they hardened? How much for neck/shoulder bushings?

Can't say I've ever held a Neil Jones die. Most people won't let you take them apart. The body is hardened and ground with a light polish in the ID. I like to get brass form the customer so I can match the taper of the case as close as possible. The bushing are either hardened or soft. Price for soft $25.00 plus shipping. Hardened $35.00 plus shipping. The Hardened ones will last for ever. I like Wildcat dies. Just wanted to say that...A die with one bushing is $135.00 plus shipping USPS (around $6.00 to send almost anywhere) I do PayPal. or Check. Here's a pic of one wildcat I did. 7mmWSM reduced to 7mm Rem SAUM. Plus pushed the shoulder back about .200 thou. Later, I supplied him with two dies to reduce the body a whole lot easier than one stroke.
