Im planning on getting a benchgun in 22lr, just for fun shooting, not breaking the bank.
Thought I would use a Cz 453 Varmint because of the two action screws, heavier barrel, light trigger.
Now, one of the stock I have been looking at, a McMillan Br-50 stock (Im not sure if they inlett the Edge?), is to shallow to use with a magazine. I would have to convert it into a single shot. The question then becomes, has anybody done this? And how to make it feed reliably?
Or do you have any other stock makers that make a full blown bench stock for a Cz 453? Maybe one that just uses a single shot magazine instead of modifying it.
