The wind was not our friend for the Sporter Match and blew heavy. We had steady 8 to 10 with gusts 14 to 16 and some a little stronger. Needless to say there were no new records set. Third place went to Mike Cameron with a 739, 32 X, second place was earned by Bill Schertz with a 740, 28X and the winner was Leonard Worthy Jr. with a 745 34X and he truly worked for that score.
Saturday's 3 gun Yards saw the wind lay down somewhat, yet still tricky and switchy.
Sporter:
1. Bill Schertz 250 13X

I would like to thank all who assisted in making this a great weekend of shooting and fun with friends from all over the USA. The scoring crew, Steve Lloyd, Leonard Worthy, Mike Cameron, Pete Wass, The Referees, Fred Sears, Keith Lovan, Gerald Higdon, John Spafford, Sherman White, and Hugh McCombs. This was definitely a good start for the 2017 Season and I hope everyone gets home safely and hope to see them again next year along with all who missed out this year. Ensure our sport, bring a new shooter into the fold.

Way to go Bill Schertz

Bill
Great shooting! An Illinois transplant showing the way. Must have been all that practice on the prairie at Chief City.
Send me a note sometime!

Can it be? Is this my little buddy stumper? OMG, it must be 8 to 10 years since your last post if it is.

Anyway, welcome home.
