Correct rear sandbag fill?

Just wondering what is the correct fill for a Protektor bunny ear rear bag,mainly the ears....should the stock touch the bag itself or should the ears hold it up off of the main part of the bag...I have the bottom part of the bag full as I can get it,the base is good and flat still but its full
