At my range in NM if the sun was right witnessing two sets of conditions between you and the target gave me a corkscrew flight pattern.

The motion normally occurs with out of balance pellets. Folks wanting to film them more easily often deliberately mutilate (file notches) in the pellet or bullet nose to create the condition.
