Core cutter design.

For those of you that can could you please post some pictures of your core cutters? I'm in the process of designing one but would like some ideas to bounce around. I know it's pretty straight forward stuff but pictures have always helped. If your not able to post a picture, PM me and I will give you my e mail address. Thanks...Bro.D

Look here < http://www.bench-talk.com/photos/r_g_robinett/picture773.aspx > and you'll see an exceptionally good core-cutter - two to three pics either side of this pic, and you'll also see an old, but very good C&H lead-wire cutter, the latter the most common design - simply a pivoting handle & bushing style. The first features a reciprocating cutter head, driven by a hand-wheel/crank-shaft - even in it's gravity fed mode, it's, compared to the usual type, very fast and extremely accurate . . . but fairly complicated to build. Warning: if you look very far either side of this pic, you will be looking a dead animal pics. :eek: RG
