Converting CZ 22mag to lr

First of all a new barrel. The magnum uses a full .224 diameter bore for it's jacketed bullet not the .223 used with the lead bullet 22LR. The trend actually seems to be down toward .222 for bench rest.
 
Why not just buy another CZ?

It would be far cheaper to buy another CZ and sell the one you have. The 22 Mag lately has been getting a little more respect lately (for hunting not benchrest) as better ammo is coming available. Try selling it on the board at Rimfire Central.
