Anyone tell me anything about the contender venture rifle i'm thinking about purchasing? There running a sale on them at caballis.
 
Grmeicher I'm as interested as you. They have a nice look to them. What caliber do you plan to get ?
 
Was thinking of a 22-250 as I'm a faithful follwer of this cal. since 1955. Deal was in their flier that came on sat. mail. Drove 120 miles on Monday and were told they were all sold out! They were supposed to have had 400 of them, but they sold out that quickly??? I think the add was a bunch of bull- to get people like me to bite. The market on guns isn't that great!!!!! Piss on the fliers from cabelis!!! Gerry

They looked of,free floated forearm nice synthetic stock ,adjustable trigger 1 MOA guarantee. 5 r rifling 1-12Twist which is big plus if you want to shoot a 60gr V-max. I think as soos as some one buys my Ruger Sp101 Hammerless 357 magnum. i'll buy one 1
