Congratulations to Marion Collier. He won the match here in Ennis TX. yesterday morning then drove to Darrell Barnes match and won it last nite. I don't know the name of Marion's rifle to congratulate it since I have heard him call it many different things thru the years. Second, thanks to Ken Harper for staying home and keeping a low profile. You did not have to send another good ole boy from Louisiana to beat us, though.

Congrats to Marion

As they say James "When Ya Hot, Ya Hot".
Atta Boy Marion.

I think Marion....

I believe that he is shooting his Myers-built Swindlehurst/Shilen. He may have used one of his 40x's, but I would bet on the Swindlehurst. James

I was referring to the trend on the east coast to name the rifle. I have heard Marion holler so many things at his rifles thru the years its hard to know what their names are.

It may not do to repeat

 What comes from the Reverend Collier's mouth during a match may not be appropriate for his congregation to hear.:D I have not known Marion to name a rifle, but he may start by using the name of one of his several mules. James

Marion is a preacher????

Retired I believe. I understand Marion shot well at the Louisiana State Tournament last week as well. If he keeps this up, I might as well go on another extended vacation.

A-Line

I remember when Brother Marion won the BR-50 G-Line, so I wouldn't be surprised if he were to win the A-Line this year. Keep it up Marion, see you at the Texas State in Winters.

I have a friend with a hunting dog....I didn't know for years if the dogs name was $hit or dammit. Turns out it's Pete. I guess dogs and guns both have plenty of names.
