The Champ

Anyone know about his rifle and what ammo he used ?
What ever it is he had it working pretty well.
:)

good work brian

i shot against brian in st. louis this year. the most miserable shoot i ever went too as a matter of fact as my heart trouble sort of peaked about that time i didnt get to shoot anymore for the summer.

the conditions still werent the greatest that saturday but all of us were humbled in that one. i think joe beshe won with a 1900 or somewhere in there. i have never seen such wind in a long time.

so brian great shooting under still not great conditions i i have something going on this saturday or i would be there shooting with at jeff city you notice not against you. you proved yourself to be a great shooter at the nationals. i plan to be there shooting next year against some of the best guns in the world.

much more good luck and God bless

You're lucky I lost my lizard & Jeff wouldn't give me another one.
Or do you have another secret other than the lizard????

Either way that was GREAT shooting buddy
Maybe I should take lessons from you.

Joe

You folks aren't really understanding the drama here. Brian shot 1st relay day 2. As Brian would tell you as he told me after his last target...."I think it will go 2400, it's a 2350 solid. At least I have a chance". Lo and behold we met in the "wailing room" and his target was hung at 2450. He was :D:D:D:D:D:D:D. I told him that that was putting the pressure on them and what a way to finish. Make them earn it. Well scores of 2350, 2375, or 2400 was what it would take to tie or beat him. It didn't happen. Congratulations Brian. You EARNED it.

Unless things have changed since I talked to Brian on the phone about a month ago, he was I believe shooting a turbo with a Broughton 5C barrel smithed by Roger Brock. Now don't quote me on that, but I believe I am right. Brian tells me he has had good luck shooting Broughton barrels.

Well it's official now. I got this off of the ARA site.

1st Brian Brandt Turbo Jewell McMillen Broughton Night Force Brock Eley

Thanks everyone for the congratulations and congratulations to Jon McKinney and Dustin Allen for there great finish. My nerves are now just starting to settel down. Brian

I would also like to Thank Roger Brock for building my fine rifle and Tim Stamm for the great bedding job he did on it. Thanks Guys.
