Congatulations American Marketers or I'm HAving a Whinge

I have just Googled (pages from Australia) for a rear bench rest bag. I also Googled American sites for the same product. Our Australian suppliers really need to take a lesson from the American sites. On every American site I was able to view a picture, description and above all a price. Only one Australian site showed a picture, description and price with all the other sites failing badly.
I guess I'll wait until the AUS/USD exchange rate is more in my favour than it is at the moment and order the rear rest from the States.

Mate, I hope and pray this world economy doesn't get much worse. The Australian economy appears to be starting to feel the effect of the global recession. As far as the AUD/USD exchange rate goes I'd be happy with a bit better of a balance but the real "killer" is transport costs from the US; especially postage. The smart guys in Australia wait until they have enough money to buy a few items thereby spreading the transport costs overall. To give you an example I bought a bolt holster from the states and it cost me just as much for transport costs as did the holster. Ah well, such is life!
