Hey,what do you all think about the RCBSversion or is there a better model out there? If so wich one? Thanks.

Use the Sinclair gauge and a ball micrometer. Figure out what you're measuring.

Brandon ...

I've found the Sinclair Concentricity Gauge to be a great tool. :)

Brandon,

Sinclair has actually produced a couple different models of their concentricity gauge. There's several others out there (NECO, RCBS, Bonanza, etc.) as well, and I've probably used at least a dozen over the years. This includes a few made by custom smiths/machinists to my specifications.

I like the Sinclair better than anything else I've seen, including those I've had made to my specs/design. It's the one that still sits on the top of my reloading bench, as opposed to buried in one of the drawers beneath. Looks like I'm not alone in that opinion based on the other comments in the thread.

Thanks guys, I'll leave the RCBS and opt for the Sinclair.

Hornady has a new setup that you can also use to correct bullet runout in the loaded round!! Its listed in their new catalog or on line. I believe its not that expensive either...as the shooting add-on go. Its their Ammunition Concentricity Tool $127.00 Its under tools in the reloading section. good shooting!
