Compitition w Current Equip

I have a custom 308 w a Rem 700 action and shoot from a Grizzly Slingshot. I am interested in competing for fun at the 200 to 300 yard range but the discussions about competitions is comfusing at best. What kinds of compititions can I shoot w the equipment I have?

in br classes you would be shooting, but probably not competing.

You can compete in f t/r class with your gun in a bipod. Check into those classes

Thanks guys. The FTR sounds interesting. No matter how well or poorly i shoot in conpairison to other shooters, my main compitition is myself. To always achieve better, that's the goal. Having fun along the way with like minded folks is a plus...
