I have a couple of questions if anyone can help me.
This is only to be used in rimfire and the goal is to come up with a micro adjust wood rest that does not give anything up to the aluminum jobs.
#1 Any links to one piece rests crafted from wood.
#2: How much left to right movement in the rear to cover an ARA 50yard target on a typical one piece rest ???
#3: What considerations should be given to using wood instead of steel. I have thought of the weight and the difference in how it might process vibrations. I think I can come up with a design that will manage the the durability.
#4: Should I automatically assume the elevation adjust need to be in the front or can I get comfortable with it in the rear also.
#5: What is the most up or down hill elevation you have needed to deal with at a bench rest venue.
All for now I guess..... Will be working through the design details in my mind today.
