Comparator to Ogive

I have 2 bullet comparators. One 6mm and one 22cal. I thought I would mark my 6mm bulletts to see where insactly my 6mm comparator was reading the ogive on my bullets So I spun the bullett on the comparator and after looking at the groove on the bullet that the comparator made it seemed to me that the mark on the bullett was a bit low for checking the ogive. Using my caliper the groove on the bullett measured 2410. So I used a 22cal comparator and grooved the bullett with it and it measured 220 on the groove. Ok in your opinion where in the radius part of the ogive would be Considered most common to read ogive? From the pick below If you can see the marks on the bullet from the comparators what reading would you use, the bottom 6mm comp-or the top 22cal comp-? Both comparators are davidson comps

Now load a dummy round and see where the rifling touches the ogive buy the small square marks it will make. And see which is more correct, the 6mm or the 22

it is a reference for setting the seating die and checking for wear.
bbls vary
so if you want a number for YOUR bbl, make a gauge from a section of YOUR bbl.

I know where my barrel lands touch the ogive on my bullets, it’s just above the lower ogive line in the pick, What im thinking is that maybe my 6mm comparator is a bit oversized and is reading the ogive to far down and to close to the bearing surface of the bullet.
