coated bullets at 1000 yds.....boron nitride anyone ??

i have been a moly guy since day one.....all my jacketed bullet rifles( i shoot cast also) get moly except a '96 swede. read the short range stuff about bn and decided to buy and try.
so anyone doing it ?

I used it for a while but I switched back to moly. It seemed to be less consistent in coating quality. I also noticed that bullets don't slide nearly so easily into the case when you seat 'em compared to moly. It's dry enough here that I'm not so worried about the sulfur pitting. The HBN is cleaner to deal with than moly but that seemed to be the one advantage. Just my experiennce... May go to naked bullets to get some velocity back in my Dashers.
