We had 2 shooters back out Friday night and still did'nt end untill midnight.

First/ Mark Stillwell --- 1499/50x

second/ Lani Cook -----1497/43x

Third/ Jimmy Trammell -1483/32x

The highest card shot was #5 a 250/14x using an AA RN10.

Our next match is Thurs. night starting at 7:30 pm eastern all are welcome.

Great Shooting Everyone!!

Mark only dropped one point out of 6 targets!!!! WOW !!!! Also Great X count.

Lani, only dropped three points. I can't wait to see what every one was shooting.

At our indoor match on Sat. Nobody even shot a 250! We had 9 shooters and several shot 249's with high X counts. Our match was won by a fellow who just received a FX Royale in .22

It was a sunny day and we shot with the ventalation off. Maybe with the roof in the sun did us in. Three Rapids and AA and USFT that normally have shot several 250 could not touch the FX Royale.

Thanks for posting your scores. That 250 16X will be tough to beat. I think the indoor record was 250 10X so any targets 250 10X and above should be sent in to Ron Lewis.

Paul, all of us were shooting my AA RN10. I've spent the last 3 weeks tweaking and tuning that rifle. I did find out one very important personality trait of my RN10, it dont like my fiberglass bench stock. Iput it back in the position stock and it picked up 3 points instantly. Makes me wonder if these air guns are more finicky than all my rimfires combined.

I will be sending Ron the 250/14x to be verified, maybe he see's what all 3 of us did. As for Lani this was her 2nd match, i hope she continues to come back.

Thanks

Mark Stillwell

Mark,
You might be on to something. Norm with his new that day FX Royale was the only Unlimited gun that wasn't in a benchrest stock. Also he didn't use a benchrest rest and bag. See picture. Norm with his winning setup.

Mark what Pellets did you use? How many cards can you shoot before you have to clean it?

My Theoben needs a patch pulled every card or the shots open up.

Thanks for your input. And again Great shooting by all.

Paul

I knew some high scores were coming (1499-50X)

Mark had been calling me everyday for the past two weeks talking about how much better his rifle was shooting after putting it back in the wood stock. Seemed to bring new life to the gun. Makes me thing we had a bedding problem with the fiberglass stock.

Mark had sent me a bunch of photo's and I was pretty sure the cool nights were going to make his Friday night match a trigger pulling contest. It's unbelieveable just how much fun these rifles are to shoot when they are humming.
