Notice high temperatures are supposed to be in the mid 40s on Saturday and Sunday. Just wondering what kind of clothing to pack for the barn this weekend. Never been there. What kind of temperatures can I expect it to be inside?

Thanks.
Charlie

Layers

Charlie:
Wear several light layers of clothing. That way you can safely remove a layer without exposing yourself. Gets warm in there after a while.

Keeps the fires burning

Doug, spends the week in there, and keeps the wood stove going the whole time. Of course when posting targets, it gets kind of cool if temps are low on the outside of the barn. Two different climates to say the least.

Jeff has two great wood stoves that usually keep the Barn a Toasty 65 – 75 deg during the day depending on outdoor temperature.
Early morning is when it can get a little chilly. The stoves are dampened down at night so by 06:00 its usually in the low 60’s. Then when shooters start to arrive and leave the doors open to bring in equipment it can drop to low 50’s.
The fires are then stocked up and some propane heaters are lit so by 09:00 the temp should be getting into the mid 60’s or higher. By mid afternoon it is not unusual to see a shooter in a short sleeve shirt.
The floors are concrete so wear good shoes and warm socks.

Kgcoker- The barn is located in Albemarle North Carolina. There are web sites that will give information on how to drive there. Have a safe trip -wear warm clothes and enjoy your stay in this fair city and our state of North Carolina. The weather for the last two days has been cold and at present it has been raining the last ten hours at least.

FredJ always grabs a chair close to the stove. No wonder he thinks it gets warm in there.
Hasve a safe trip out. It might make me homesick to see shooters from Missouri
