How often should a Spring gun be cleaned and how ?
Is there any references for cleaning on line ?
 
Hardly ever cleaned my TX 200. Careful with oil as the gun will diesel or ignite with pressure. Can damage gun you will smell it and notice the difference if it happens.
 
Bob's correct about the oiling of a spring gun. Under pressure, that oil acts just like diesel fuel.
 
I am thinking that the lands in the barrel would eventually fill up and it would act like a smooth bore and loose accuracy.
 
They tend to 'lead' up quicker using crosman premiers..so most wash,clean,then very lightly lube pellets with Krytech..JSB's come with coating from factory and barrel stays cleaner longer...

For your barrel, just run some dry patches thru when accuracy falls off...
