I see no post for .177 so well post this . 40! ,10 AM ,sunny , bench inside, chronograph out side, 12 " to chronograph . Air Arms EV2 my set up .

H+N Baracuda new from tin 685.9-685.5-688.5-685.9-689.1 AV 687.0
685.1-688.2-686.8-684.8 683.7 AV 685.7 11 Ft.Lb.

AA Diabolo Field 8.4 sorted and lubed
761.8-765.2-763.8-763.5-765.4 AV 763.9
767.7-763.3-762.6-763.5-764.3 AV 764.3 10.9 ft.lb.

not what I though I wood get but works for me. By the way as consistent as the Baracudas are the group size is 3-4 times that of the AA Diabola Field ;.

that is a large diff. in speed; why is it ? lubing? better fit? weight? adjusted gun?

Did you change the fill pressure ? or is the gun adjustable power ? that is interesting, I lubed pellets for the first time today. I have to wonder if it is faster due to that ? ever lube the H and N and compare to unlubed groups and chrony ?
just interested... always liked that ev2.
