Choosing the right 6br

I am a new guy on the block and looking for some help on choosing the right rifle. I am going to buy a Savage 6BR. I like to benchrest shoot, and would like to start F-Class shooting at my range. 3oo yards and 600 yards. I need some recommendation on what rifle to get. The Model: 12 Bench Rest or the F/TR. Or just go with the F-Class. Keep in mind I need a rifle for both Bench Rest and F-Class. I am thinking the F/TR in the 1 in 8" twist. Plus what Bolt Action should I go with? RB, Left Port or RB, Right Port? Should I go with a fluted barrel or no fluted barrel? Any comments sure would be appreciated. Thanks.

You need to get your terminology correct. If you want a 6br gun it would be shot in F-Open. The F/TR gun is another class only 308 or 223 allowed. The Savage FClass model is a F-Open gun. The Savage Benchrest model can go either class depends on caliber you choose.

Choosing the right 6BR

Thanks for the help guy's.I am going with the Savage Bench Rest . In the 6 Norma BR, 1 in 8" twist ,29" Barrel.I called Savage and thay can chamber the F/TR rifle in 6 NORMA BR. I think that would make this rifle suitable for F-Open Class. But I am going with the Bench model. THANKS AGAIN.
