Choate Stock

I had

a Choate stock on a Rem 700 that I used for prairie dogs. The fit was ok, but I didn't care for the stock itself. I sold it to a buddy who did some trimming with, IIR, a razor knife around the trigger area. You get what you pay for.

I also had a Choate stock and found it to be very heavy. I think I glass bedded it since the fit wasn't exactly right. There aren't any truly drop in stocks that are mass marketed if you're looking for the best live varmint accuracy in my experience. They all need glass bedding and maybe some grinding and fiddling for the best fit.
