Chambering the 6.5x284 in a 700 LA repeater?

I was wondering if a 6.5x284 cartride could be made to chamber and feed from out of the 700BDL LA magazine well.

I use a KWIK-KEE KLIP and it works.....

No problem with mine. Shooting 140 VLD's.

I built my 700BDL 6.5 x 284 in a long action because I wanted to feed the 140 Berger VLD's from the mag & a short action mag was too short to hold the loaded round, works,,, feeds,,, and shoots really good,,,,,
