I watched a barrel being chambered the other day with a floating reamer holder. I noticed at some point that when almost fully chambered the reamer was only cutting on one flute.
Is this normal? MY thinking is that if the reamer is following the bore and the bore does slightly wonder that chamber will then be oversized. Lastly if you are indicating to a range rod in the breech end of the bore when threading and fitting wont that cause the muzzle to be somewhat pointed off of center of the action where the scope is supposed to be alligned to?
