i have a celestron 100 without ed glass.
for benchrest, where targets are basic white i can see shoots out to 1000yd...even in the blue of the 9/10 ring.( with little to no mirage)
not so with high power or other black centered targets.
mine is 22-67x.
i also could not see holes in oragne tape...but the ed glass should cover that.
so yes it will work for br, but not others...
