What is the direrence between a Remington 700 BDL and the CDL ???

Just the stock, as far as I know. There are different barrel contours for things like "mountain rifles" and such.

The CDL has a classic style walnut stock with black forend tip. The barrel contour depends on the rifle model and whether its a stainless fluted or blued model. The BDl has the mote Carlo stock with cheek piece. Don't think the CDL has a check piece. The BDL comes with iron sights. The CDL doesn't. Cost wise they are about the same for the blued models. The CDL stainless fluteds are about a hundred dollars higher than the blued models.
 
Also, and I may be wrong, the CDL has a low luster oil finish while the BDL has the high gloss RKW (bowling pin finish).
I have both but prefer the CDL finish and stock.
