I fireformed some 30br brass today and was going to anneal it. I went by the welding supply store and got the same tempstick I have used in years past (700 degrees f). They have changed the formula and I can't see it with the small amount used. BTW the old I used was almost white this stuff is more orange.
Anybody found anything that works well? I have never been ablee to do the "glow" method.

I have seen the article in 6mmbr before. The probelm is still the same. The method of temperature control I used has changed production and won't work. The templiq they speak of I have never been able to get and the rest of the article is mostly advertising for a product that has the same problem.
